Illustrator first

I realized how fail I am at updating my blogs, so here is my first assignment for my illustrator class. it's a self portrait trace, all vectors, but I saved it as .jpg so it's all rasterize and PIXELS (yay for pixels)

I still need to scan stuff for graphiteviolence. D: You hear that lucy and sarah? i'm going to scan stuff at your place sometime soon! :D

Also.. this is like the first time using illustrator (excluding the practices, but those doesnt count)

But yes, I haven't submit anything recently and I feel bad, so I'm going to tell you how I will post something new so y'all will have something to look forward rather than being sad b/c it seems like I am dead on this site.. or any site / blog I have. D: I deeply apologize.

as you can tell, i'm not complete with this yet, but i'm positive it's 50% or more complete :) Any suggestions? One of my friend already suggested me to add more brighter colors to this piece, i agree with her, but is there other suggestions to make this piece complete? XD

Uno, Ni, or neither

Here's two version of the montage project:

I need to print one of these out with glossy paper (there goes my lunch money and maybe even dinner), so i must choose wisely. I'm indecisive on this sort of thing, so help?

Which one looks better? If neither, is there any suggestion to what I can improve on on the two montages?
